Examples of Volunteer Jobs
The Caring Committee provides receptions after memorial services held at Emerson.
Teach a Sunday School class, or become involved with the Children & Youth.
Office Volunteers are needed to do clerical work, basic accounting, answer telephones, and help ready mailings.
The Lay Pastoral Ministry are trained volunteers who counsel church members undergoing life transitions.
The Folding Fingers Group meets once a month to fold the Emersonian newsletters for mailing.
Greeters welcome those entering the Sanctuary on Sundays and assist with visitor name tags.
Landscape and Gardening helps keep Emerson's campus beautiful!
On Sunday, our Ushers hand out Orders of Service, collect the offering, and assist guests and visitors.
