In recent years, Auction items have included beach house getaways; music lessons ; exciting parties; grand and casual dinners; airline tickets; rides to the airport; quilts, baskets, sweaters and other handmade gifts; pies, cobblers and breads … and much, much more.
What will you donate? The success of our Auction depends upon you! Here are some ideas to get you thinking: a few hours pruning trees, making soup or addressing envelopes for seasonal cards; fly-fishing lessons; a cruise on your sailboat; Tuscan lunch for six; Middle Eastern breakfast for four; a weekend at your cabin. You’re creative – you’ll come up with something great! And when you do, complete the enclosed donation form and drop it in the box in The Gathering Place; fax it to 713-782-8261; or email it to auction@emersonhouston.org.
