Age 5 to 5th Grade
Spirit Play - Kindergarten and First Grade Using a modified Montessori approach, we provide children with stories and time to wonder and express themselves. This class meets in Room 105 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Love Will Guide Us - Second and Third Grade How do we know what is right and good in our world? This curriculum introduces our Unitarian Universalist sources of wisdom with stories, games, and projects for the second- and third-grade crowd. The class meets in Room 107 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Love Connects Us - Fourth and Fifth Grade Starting with Noah’s covenant with God and working our way through our history to present-day initiatives to build a better world, our fourth and fifth grade class will develop an understanding of the importance of covenant in the Unitarian Universalist faith. Each lesson features worship elements, a story, and some game, craft, or time for investigating and problem-solving. This class meets in Room 108 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
10 AM Complementary Program
We’re On Our Way School-aged children AND adults come together to look at how we are different and how we can work together. This program is a safe and fun opportunity for us to develop our anti-racist, anti-oppression, welcoming tool belts. This class meets in Room 107 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m., at which time we head to the sanctuary to rejoin our families for the start of worship service.
